Always wash hair in cold water with mild shampoo and conditioner. Washing in hot water will damage the fiber.
- Never rub your hair. Swish gently from side to side and lower it up and down.
- Use a towel and pat your hair dry. Never brush or comb when hair is wet. Never use a hairdryer. If you're in a rush, use cool settings on the dryer.
- If necessary, detangle the hair with a wide-tooth comb that works from the bottom to the top.
- If hair becomes frizzy, use shine spray, then comb.
- You can resume styling once your hair is completely dry.
- Never comb or brush curl or spiral dreadlocks. Use your fingers to comb gently.
- The use of iron heating or other heating appliances is not recommended.
